Freshers’ Week is essentially Welcome Week at the University of Birmingham for new students, with events to enable new students to meet like minded people and make new friends.

Our Freshers’ week has officially BEGUN!
It’s #DoubleTheTrouble with a whole FORTNIGHT of University of Birmingham ISoc and Islamic Medical Society (IMed) collabs!

The Islamic Society organises an incredible itinerary of Freshers’ Week events every single year and this year was no different! We had a great list of events that was enjoyed by all.
The Prophet (saw) said, “A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other.” While (saying that) the Prophet clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers. [Narrated by Abu Musa, Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim]
University brings lots of challenges and new opportunities, alongside finding ourselves a bit more… let’s remember we’re all in this together! Banter, fun and games, beneficial company, meeting new brothers and sisters, and forming friendships that’ll last a lifetime insha’Allah! Your family away from home… is right here!
